1. The service

RemoteScan provides a daily, personalized digest of publicly listed job postings, ranked against the profile you provide. RemoteScan is an information service: we do not apply to jobs on your behalf, do not guarantee interviews or employment, and do not act as a recruitment agency.

2. Plans and billing

The Free plan includes a reduced daily digest. The Pro plan costs $14.99 per month, billed via Stripe, renewing monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal rights for EU consumers remain unaffected.

3. Your obligations

You confirm the information you provide (resume, preferences) is yours and accurate. You may not resell or redistribute the digests, or use the service to harvest job data at scale.

4. Accuracy disclaimer

Job data originates from third-party sources and may be outdated, mislabeled or removed by the employer at any time. Scores, fit explanations and red flags are automated assessments and can be wrong. Always verify a posting before applying.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Liability for lost profits or missed job opportunities is excluded to the extent legally permissible.

6. Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Governing law

German law applies, excluding UN sales law. For consumers, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
